===== VIP3 Usage ===== ^ We strongly advise not to use VIP3 as a single aircraft package, because of it's huge FPS hit nature! For best performance get some additional frame friendly LOD based AI packgages instead, else you won't survive online events ^ FSInn handles VIP3 model set different as most of other standard aircrafts. If you have already installed a VIP3 set, you don´t need to install a new full package. If you havn´t downloaded so far, here are the links for FS2002 and FS2004 VIP3 model set packages: SetupFSFDTVIPStandard2002.exe \\ SetupFSFDTVIPStandard2004.exe The F2004 package is also working on FSX. And following patch is **needed** to make VIP3 available to FSInn: FSInn VIP Enabler.zip \\ Unzip this and copy it´s content over your VIP folder in the FS aircraft path. Additionally make sure that you enable the "Use VIP Models in resolving" in the "Options tab". See VIP handling and VIP priority for more information. **The VIP3 and MPP packages and FSX:** \\ For FSX the packages will be placed in: %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes ===== Voice ===== Open the FSFDT Control Panel first (FSFDTCP). You can do this by clicking on the icon in the Windows tool bar (lower right corner - near the clock). Click the middle icon. ==== VATSIM ==== For VATSIM usage this is the only voice client you need to configure. There is no need to use the AVC client anymore, since FSInn version 1.1. The prefered hardware device selection is "Wave", but if you receive some chopped voice then you should try the "DirectSound" alternative. Enter your devices in following configuration window: Finally enter your preferred push to talk button (PTT): Note: For remote PTT Configuration uncheck the "Enable VATSIM Voice on this computer" option from the FS PC. Then proceed to set the PTT on the remote PC. Ensure Flight Simulator is running on the FS PC during this process. That's it! If you like you can adjust the voice volumes also here. ==== VA Channel Frequency ==== If you are a VA member, you can define a VA Frequency, which will connect you to a custom VA channel of choice by tuning one or both COM radio. Here is an example of how to do it:
